i have two RockfordFosgate dual 2 ohm subs 1000 rms a piece what type of amp should i get?
i have a lanzar vibe276 which puts out 600 rms at 4 ohms and 1000 rms at 2 ohms but i was looking at amps and noticed Frequency Response, why are some amps at 20 Hz - 20 kHz and mine is at 15 Hz - 35KHz what does this mean? will i still get low ass bass from this amp? i also have these subs in a qlogic type 3 vented box if that makes any difference
First things first, to get the best output from your Lanzar amp you want it 2 see @ 2ohm load. Being your subs r dual 2ohm the way 2 obtain this is wire the 2 speaker inputs (0n each spkr.) in series. 2 do this connect the positive (+) input on one side to the negative (-) leaving a + and a - on the speaker, this makes each speaker 4ohms. Then after doing this to both subs,connect both positives + and both negatives - to your amp (parallel) this will make the amp see @ohms
