Is a "high speed USB port" something computers already have, or do you buy it?
I'm trying to download music to a Jensen MP3 player, and when I plug it into the usb port, the computer gives a message that this is a high speed device and should be connected to a high speed port. I've tried all the ports on my computer. Do I need to go buy something in order to download music to the player? Windows Media Player doesn't recognize the device when I plug it in. Any help is greatly appreciated!
High speed means USB 2.0. It is newer than USB 1.1 which is the low speed port. If your computer is old, then maybe it doesn't have any USB 2.0 ports.
