i just want to know if it will pick up my wireless routers signal wich is a Belkin "G"? my xbox is right next to my desktop and that manages to connect to the internet but i wanted to know if this percific PCI card will connect to it, oh and my isp is virgin media and average Mbps is 50

It doesn't matter what your ISP is, the issue is whether this card will communicate with your wireless router. The card says it is a wireless G card, and your router is G, so it should work. Your PC has to have an available PCI (not PCI-e) slot.
