how do i enable wake on lan in the bios when the lan is not built into the motherboard?
I have 2 IBM etherjet pci adapters and I need to enable wake on lan in the bios. Its an old hp millenium edition with windows server 2003..... Yes i know a tad bit ghetto but it works. all i need is for wake on lan to be set up in the bios because im putting it in the crawlspace and i want to be able to shut it down and boot it back up without crawling. =) if someone can help me with this do not hesitate, i will give the first person who answers and helps me the best answer.
Wake on lan would have to be a feqature on the mother board itself, there should be a connector to connect the WOL wire from the ethernet card to the motherboard...
unable to advise further without knowing what computer/mopther board you have...
