Can Dual Channel DDR Ram be used in a Computer that does not support Dual Channel DDR?
In other words can Dual Channel DDR be used as normal DDR?
Well it depends on your slots/plug and play RAM slots, Dual channels are just 2 Ram sticks sold Double like a pair. If your board supports the 2 sticks of RAM then yes and if Not then no, did you plan on using the RAM that was already in there?
"Dual channel" kits are just regular rams like the one you have (unless a bigger siz)e sold in pairs. They are identical rams that you just plug in and certified to activate your board's dual channel capability (most computers will automatically detect this) if it has any. If your board doesn't, these rams will still work as regular rams just not in "dual channel"
