Can I plug a 125 v cord into a 100-240v power module?
I just lost the power supply to my printer (it's in a moving box somewhere, can't find it)
I got a free replacement from HP. It's an AC power Adapter, and it says under input "100-240v."
Well, i just took a cord from my old laptop, it's a 125v cord, apparently.
I'm assuming I could just plug it in and use it, but I'm not sure if I sould be looking for any other details to make sure I don't fry my printer. Any advice? Did I hit the nail on the head or do I need to look more carefully?

Will This Charger Work For My Laptop?
The following three condition should be met for you to use this charger safely. You can contact us here if you need further assistance.
1) Output Voltage is within +/- 5% of your old charger's output.
For example, if your old charger provides 19.5V, then you can use a charger that provides 20.5V or 18.5V.
2) Output Current is the same or higher than that of your old charger.
For example, if your original adapter provides 3.42 Amps, then you can use a charger that provides 3.42 Amps, 3.9 Amps or higher.
3) Connector tip must fit securely into your laptop.
Basically, have the voltage come within 5% of the required and have the amperage equal to or greater than required. Also, make sure the tips fit perfectly (not forcibly or loosely).
